CBS awarded a rating of ‘A+’ by Business India in a short span of three years


 In a comprehensive survey of business schools in the country conducted by Business India, CBS was awarded a rating of ‘A+’. The survey conducted made an intensive research of various parameters like quality of students and faculty; commitment of the institution in developing infrastructure facilities like library, canteen, entertainment, wellness etc., curriculum and pedagogy, brand equity enjoyed by the school, relative investments made in it by interfacing with corporates and placements made by the school. This has now placed CBS in the top 126 B-schools in the country.

Coming close on heels of the IMPACT  B–school award achieved earlier this year , this is yet another achievement made by the school since its inception in 2006.

Chennai Business School was adjudged winner in three categories in the Impact-Outstanding B-Schools in Marketing Awards 2009.

Best professor teaching Marketing Management

The awards, which were given out during the 'World HRD Congress' held at Mumbai, recognized CBS as the best B-school with respect to the relevance of its curriculum innovation, development and industry interface in meeting industry requirements.The awards clearly recognized Chennai Business School's 'Learning for the real world ' philosophy. For the ' Best professor teaching Marketing Management ' Prof. R. Sathyanarayanan, the Head of the Marketing & Communications and Retail Varsity at CBS, received the award.
