Course Details

CBS offers a one year, full time Post Graduate Program in Financial Management.

This program is aimed at B.Com/M.Com graduates who are desirous of career opportunities in Finance. Executives with a commerce background and with relevant experience in finance/accounts are also eligible to pursue the course.

Block I:
General Management (common across all programs) Block II:
Special topics in Financial Management: The aim of this module is to give a comprehensive understanding of theory and practice in the field of Financial Management.

The various topics in International Management will be:

Advanced Accountancy
Advanced Economics
Advanced Financial Management
Advanced Cost Management
Working Capital Management
International Financial Management
Options, Futures and Derivatives
Capital Markets and Portfolio Management
Valuations
Mergers and Acquisitions
Financial Engineering

This will be followed by an internship of 1 month.

Job Opportunity

The course provides an in-depth knowledge about several facets of financial management including Corporate Finance, Cost Management, Risk Management, Valuations and Working Capital Management built upon a strong foundation of Accounts and Economics. Students completing such a course will have tremendous opportunity as future decision-makers in all major business ventures that involve financial outlay and risk.

Fee Structure

The fee for the Program is Rs 5,50,000 (inclusive of service tax). This includes the cost of simulated management games/ activities and other events which will be of benefit / interest to the students. All students are encouraged to participate in such events.

The students will undergo a one month internship in the month of March.
