Chennai Business School is now in sixth year of existence and the journey so far has been both challenging and exciting.

Our first batch started in 2006, when we had 3 specialization modules – which we address as “Varsities” – Human Resources Management, Marketing Communications Management and Retail Management. Today, in our fifth year, we have in addition IT Management, Banking and Financial Services, International Management and Financial Management. 

Right from the year of commencement, CBS has been very well received by Industry.  Our students have been placed in reputed organizations like Ashok Leyland, Titan, Taj Hotels and Pantaloons, to name a few, and the feedback from these organizations have given us the confidence that their learning has really been “for the real world”. 

CBS has always been providing an “industry focus” in all our offerings and we hope to take it further this year with the launch of both the Executive PGPM and a range of short-term courses.  These courses are positioned as “value-adds” to the working professional keen on enhancing his “skills repertoire”.

We have also brought out our journal, the “CBS Business Review”, which is a quarterly, providing deep insights into management issues challenging the Industry today through articles, case studies and book reviews.

CBS is already one of the preferred B-Schools in Chennai today and our vision is to make it the most preferred B-School in the country in the near future.
